Proverbs 11:23 NKJV

[23] The desire of the righteous is only good, but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

Sanctification isn't relegated to one area of sin struggle. When the Holy Spirit comes in, all of the corners get cleaned up. The first area for me was the most obvious... and the fastest. Addiction was gone immediately. Other areas have been slow, but sure and steady.

I used to expect the worst in people and wish the worst for people whom I thought deserved it. I was arrogant and judgmental. Then the Holy Spirit showed up. Growing closer to Jesus has a way of sweetening the spirit. I have found myself hoping for the best in others and believing the best for every outcome. Sanctification has given me insight into understanding what I deserve and recognizing that Jesus is the answer to everything for everyone.
