Philippians 4:14 NKJV

[14] Nevertheless, you have done well that you shared in my distress.

The people in our lives who matter the most are the ones who hurt when we hurt. These friends are few and far between. They are always available. They always care deeply and they always love big.

One of the biggest reasons why God ordained the church was for this level of care. The hands and feet of Jesus are often attached to His followers who operate in this space. It is a blessing to have these friends and an honor to be this kind of friend.
