[18] Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. [19] And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. [20] Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
I'm not known for my excessive patience, especially when it comes to perceived needs. I don't like waiting and wishing for anything. Over the past forty-four-plus years, I have had to wait a lot.
When I look back on the harder times in my life, I can't remember a time when God wasn't sufficient. Sure, I wanted for things. I had moments when I felt like I was missing out. Even when I was completely broke, I can still see where God was blessing and providing for my REAL needs.
He sent His people into my life at the right moments. He provided work to pay my bills. All I've ever had to do is trust Him and honor Him by making the most of every opportunity He provided.
