Proverbs 10:11 NKJV

[11] The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

I have been around people who did nothing but spew bitterness and anger. Everything they said and spoke of was dark and negative. It seemed their predominant focus was to suck the joy of life out of everyone they met. I have been successful at rooting most of those people out of my life.

On the other hand, I have people in my life who speak peace, love, and wisdom into every conversation. I love those people. I seek them out at every opportunity and appreciate their friendship and presence in my life. Those are MY people.

One day I will leave this earth behind. When I am gone, I don't want to be remembered for my negative 3nergy and sour attitude. My prayer for today is that my presence and my words will reflect the goodness of God in my life and the love of Jesus (who saved me.)
