[12] Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.
We have every right to hate certain behaviors. Hating sin is a byproduct of sanctification. We're not called to be accepting of sinful behavior. We are called to be set apart from it. We are also called to love those people who sin against us.
No part of sanctification is supposed to be easy. For me, the most difficult part is loving those who hate me. I know what God says I am supposed to do... I know what Jesus did... but my heart wants no part of it. When I feel my flesh pushing back from loving others, I know I am doing what God desires.
