For years, my identity was tied to what I brought to the table. I worked. I provided. We had enough based on my efforts. If we didn't have enough, I hadn't done enough. It was all about me and what I did (or didn't do). The pressure and the praise were all mine.
I didn't understand the meaning of freedom until I turned everything over to God. All of the stress and strain He took. All of the glory and honor He deserved. All I have... my abilities, my opportunities, everything... came from God. I am who I am because of who He is and all He has done for me.
