[3] The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, but He casts away the desire of the wicked.

Over the past few years, we have experienced quite a few unplanned financial burdens. My wife had an emergency surgery that kept her out of work for a few months. We had to replace the engine in a "new to us" vehicle, along with several other occurrences that set us back in time and money. We had several months where money was tight. God has never once let us down.

I like to think I can trust God through anything, but good times seldom do much to test our faith. I believe God uses tough situations to draw us closer to Him. We work. We tithe. We are faithful because God has been so faithful to us. Even in moments of heartache and frustration, God has proven time and again that He takes care of His children. He has always taken care of us.
