Proverbs 10:6 NKJV

[6] Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

I don't claim to be righteous... not even close. I do claim to be a faithful follower of Jesus currently working through the process of sanctification. I am striving for righteousness one day at a time. What I have learned through it is how blessings come through the struggles.

Following Jesus isn't easy. I don't always get to do (or act) the way I want to. I have to accept (and apply) corrections regularly. I know that my wants aren't necessarily healthy or holy. Despite the constant exercise of restraint and self-control, I get to enjoy more peace, more joy, and more rest than ever before.
