Proverbs 10:9-10 NKJV

[9] He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known. [10] He who winks with the eye causes trouble, and a prating fool will fall.

We can get away with a lot away out of the sight of other people, but nothing is ever out of the sight of God. Even more, He knows the desires and intentions of our hearts. Every angry word... Every impure thought... He knows. We all stray in one way or another.

I wouldn't dare lie and try to convince anyone that my thoughts are always centered on God. I have had a rebellious nature since birth. I know this about me and the Lord does too. The key component to maintaining integrity is how fast I turn back to God with a heart of repentance. I don't want to venture out for too long and abuse the blessing of His grace.
