Proverbs 11:1 NKJV

[1] Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.

I believe we are designed to recognize morality. That doesn't mean we are all steered by a strong moral compass. Knowing right from wrong is one thing. Doing the right thing is a whole other story.

God desires that we all draw closer to Him. He gave us Jesus as THE perfect example of what that looks like. The closer we get, the more we start to resemble His nature. Strong morality (doing the right thing) comes naturally because the voice of the Holy Spirit is loud and clear to those who serve God above everything else.
