[29] He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise of heart. [30] The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. [31] If the righteous will be recompensed on the earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner?
There aren't many things worse than unruly children. The unmanageable behaviors of undisciplined children are disruptive in public and at home. As parents, we are required to administer equal portions of love and correction. When one of these things is missing, the results speak for themselves.
If God loves us perfectly, we should expect His discipline. Correction is a requirement for sanctification. He wants us to become better children just as we desire the same for our kids. Nobody loves correction naturally, but wisdom allows us to appreciate its value.
