Proverbs 26:1 NKJV

[1] As snow in summer and rain in harvest, so honor is not fitting for a fool.

Over the years, I have held down several different jobs. At one of those jobs, I had a supervisor who had a reputation for lacking supervisory skills. Everyone I worked alongside recognized it. The changes and decisions he made never made sense. His presence was usually met with eye rolls and snide remarks. His position should have garnered respect, but he didn't.

My marriage stayed on the rocks until I realized what was missing... honorable leadership. I could not lead well because I wasn't following well. I was nothing more than a fool led astray by my own way. I didn't start becoming a worthy leader until I started faithfully following Jesus. His leadership is not only honorable... It is the perfect form of God's divine design.
