[20] Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases.
If you spend much time around people, you can probably think of a few who lean towards negativity. No matter how good things are, they can point out all of the flaws. With them, there is no such thing as a good day. Something is wrong, is going wrong, or went wrong. There was a problem. Someone did this or that to make all of the good go away.
Nothing is perfect all the time. We all experience struggles, frustrations, and issues along our way. As long as we have breath, we will have the occasional hardship. I believe one of the more evident gifts of the Holy Spirit is finding joy in ALL circumstances. The love of Jesus has the power of minimizing the severity of our struggles. He suffered so that we could have hope in eternal life.
