[27] Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.
In my past life, I have regretfully gone out of my way to avoid helping people. If I felt like they had done me wrong, I happily returned the favor. I would intentionally try to administer my own form of justice as if I were in some high position. I wanted the other person to experience problems because I had been offended. If there was a door, I would close it.
In all of my years, I have never looked back and regretted doing what is right. I have had to repent for what I have done wrong. I love the Lord too much to give myself a free pass or make excuses. He has been too good for me to dismiss any of my poor behaviors. I can't rightfully say that I follow Jesus and not try to treat others the way He has treated me.
