[22] Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, yet his foolishness will not depart from him.
I refuse to wear white clothes. It makes zero difference how much I try, I ALWAYS end up getting some mysterious, unexplainable stain on them. I can ruin a brand new shirt without leaving the house. Even with my wife's miracle-working ways in the laundry stain department, the shirt is trashed.
I remember hearing the song "Nothing but the blood of Jesus" when I was a kid. It never made any sense to me until I had foolish sin-stains to deal with as an adult... things I couldn't fix without the hand of God intervening. The fool in me was too much for me, but not too much for God.
I may not be able to wear white shirts, but I know I am washed by the blood (that makes me white as snow.) Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
