Proverbs 3:1-2 NKJV

[1] My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; [2] For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.

With the way things are going in this world, I have no desire to overstay my time here. However, l most certainly don't want to do things and make decisions that make the time I have left miserable. I do look forward to what God has in store for me. Some days, that's the largest portion of hope I have to hold onto. I can't let that go.

In the meantime, it is my responsibility to pursue Jesus with my whole heart, to lean into God's wisdom, and be attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I believe in doing so, there is a certain amount of God's best to be experienced this side of Heaven. Who wouldn't want that?
