Proverbs 3:7-8 NKJV

[7] Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. [8] It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.

My wife likes to joke about my seemingly endless supply of useless facts. I have a knack for retaining information that serves no real purpose. My memory only fails me when it comes to the important stuff. It has always been a running joke at our house.

Wisdom, on the other hand, is something that seemed out of reach for many years. I thought I knew what I was doing. I was wrong. Foolishness leads us to make every wrong turn. I'll never claim to be wise by any stretch, but I do claim to be Spirit-led. I have yet to experience one bad move chasing after Jesus.
