Proverbs 3:9-10 NKJV

[9] Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; [10] So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

I am not wealthy by any stretch of the American standard. I am blessed with a lucrative career. I can provide for my family. We are fortunate not to want for anything materially. Truth be told, we have more than we could ever ask for. I can't take credit for any of it.

I know where my blessings come from. I know where my abilities come from. For all I have, none of it belongs to me. God has provided it. It was all His to start with. It isn't hard to give Him back the first portions because He has given so abundantly to me.
