Romans 10:14-15 NKJV

[14] How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? [15] And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

I don't consider myself a preacher at all. Sure, I do share the gospel when given the opportunity. I don't mind mentioning my past. It allows me to put into perspective just what God can do. What I often forget is that the way I live IS my testimony.

Some people may never darken the door of a church. Maybe they have been hurt by church people. The same ones who avoid church call and invite me into their homes to do repairs. I don't have to beat them over the head with a Bible. I get to be a living example of Jesus in front of them.

We're not all called to stand up and preach. We are all called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. There is no greater testimony than being the love of God in action. There is no greater honor than being recognized as a follower of Jesus by the way we treat others.
