[18] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
I can't understand how someone who professes to be a non-believer can have a positive attitude. I know this world is not my home. I know better things are coming, and I still struggle with having a rotten attitude. I know heaven awaits me, but the troubles of the day cloud my perspective.
The very thing non-believers claim they don't have is exactly what keeps me going. Trudging through daily stresses and worries often seem insurmountable, but I hold onto the hope I have in Jesus. I know that I'll face troubles of many kinds, but none of it can compare to the joy and promises of God.
