Proverbs 10:20-21 NKJV

[20] The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little. [21] The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of wisdom.

I have been guilty of doing so many foolish, thoughtless things in my past. I prioritized fun and flesh over wisdom and honor. I thought like a child. I acted like a child.

I Corinthians 13:11 - When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Part of being a man is knowing it is okay to not understand... but not okay to continue without seeking understanding. I am a man, but I am a child of God. His wisdom is readily available if we seek it. The Holy Spirit is living and active within me to lead me in the right direction and provide me with discernment in all situations. All we have to do is ask.
